North Somerset ParishWildlife Wardens -are people who care about the future of our wildlife and wantto improve local habitats and biodiversity - in our gardens,in our parishes and in North Somerset as a whole.
Our ObjectivesTo promote wildlife issues
· Recording, monitoring and identifying areas of wildlife interest.
· Acting as a link between the community and relevant bodies on wildlife issues.
· Promoting habitat creation and conservation in North Somerset.
· Encouraging sustainable lifestyles.
What we do
We record the local wildlife, flowers, trees and hedges, we monitor bat and bird populations, thereby helping to protect our local habitats.
Training
There are free training sessions for all wardens who would like to increase their own identification and monitoring skills

Membership is open to anyone wishing to support the aims of the North Somerset Parish Wildlife group - the commitment and degree of involvement is up to you.
There is a charge of £3 per an. for individuals and £5 for families.
